When companies merge or are acquired, differences between cultures can result in interpersonal difficulties in the workplace.  Over 70% of corporate mergers and acquisitions fail to meet their financial objectives, and the major cause has been cited as "cultural or behavioural incompatibility".  Our assistance may be an asset to facilitate communication and promote collaboration among members of organizations merging to form a new organization, or integrate a new culture.  We have significant experience in working with M&A's – we're able to help organizations and employees adjust effectively.

Organizational Effectiveness Surveys

It is often difficult for the leadership of an organization to obtain a clear and unbiased appreciation of employees' perspectives on how the organization functions.  Employee surveys, conducted by a credible third party can assure anonymity and produce valuable insights.  We help you design the survey, host and administer the survey, and then compile and analyze the results.  A survey report is prepared and reviewed with the Client – we are also available to assist in the feedback and follow-up process.

Executive Compensation

It is important to maintain current knowledge of the marketplace to ensure that compensation practices are competitive.  This allows an organization to recruit, recognize and retain the human resources required for success.  Our Executive Compensation capability includes market research, salary range development, job evaluation and/or incentive compensation design.

General Counsel
