Scope of the Position: 

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President & CEO is responsible for the strategic, fiscal and operational leadership of the Company.  The Company is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of robust and environmentally friendly utility vehicles.  Its goal is to implement a development strategy via acquisition and organic growth, as it expands its product lines and applications across the country and into international markets. 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Develop and execute the Strategic Plan for building the team and the business

·         Profit & Loss responsibility applying a Balanced Scorecard approach to managing the financial, customer, internal business and innovation & learning perspectives

·         Optimize customer satisfaction by infusing it into the Company’s actions, beliefs and relationships

·         Spearhead Marketing efforts, lead the development of sales and marketing strategies, and ensure the effective selection and management of the dealer network

·         Routinely contact and meet with customers to keep close and understand their needs and changes in the market place

·         Cultivate relationships with government and regional/municipal officials involved in the procurement, approval and awarding of contracts related to the Company’s products

·         Help teams design ways to measure performance and track improvements – champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles throughout the Company

Selection Criteria:

·         Bachelors in Engineering, Business or related field

·         Minimum of 10-15 years progressively senior experience in a related industry or precision manufacturing business

·         Demonstrated accomplishments in building and maintaining dealer/distributor networks, customer relationships and new business venture channels

·         Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a highly strategic perspective

·         A history of dynamic leadership in an aggressive, growth-oriented environment

·         Solid track record in business development, including successful acquisition and integration of businesses

·         The ability to analyze projected markets, business and economic trends, and to address their impact on the short- and long-term requirements of the business
